Judicial review

In January 2015, RSPB Scotland submitted a petition to the Court of Session in Edinburgh requesting a Judicial Review of the decision by Scottish Ministers to consent four offshore wind farms in the Firth of Forth on the east coast of Scotland.

The opinion of the Judge was published on the 18th July 2016 and ruled in favour of the RSPB’s petition.

Seagreen Wind Energy is aware that the Scottish Government have begun the process of submitting a Reclaiming Motion for the Judicial Review decision issued on the 18th July 2016 which relates to all four wind farm proposals in the Firth of Forth, including Seagreen Alpha and Bravo projects.

Seagreen continue to work with the Scottish Government in progressing this action.
